In Burkina Faso, traditions are very strong, nonetheless, as anywhere else, changes and evolution with the society occur.
The animist who are the spirit and soul of the old believes are less and less.
New generation become muslim or catholic and don’t practise their oldest tradition.
So only few old men know are left to make specific ceremonies during their annual festivities.
